Design Consultation - An on-site meeting to discuss options and ideas for a home owner to make their own improvements. No drawings are produced.
Master Plan Development - A design is developed to the degree that suits your needs. It can be an overall concept design, with you determining the finer details like plant selection; or a full planting design can be created.
Design / Build - Full working drawings are produced with a landscape design that we've worked on together. A proposal is worked up for the cost of the installation, and once accepted we can begin construction. All of our planning and imagining at this point becomes a reality as the vision takes shape.
We do charge an hourly rate for all of our design services, however, with the design/build option, up to 50% of the design fees can be applied to the installation cost.
A designer will visit and listen to what you have in mind for your landscape. The professional will take note of what architectural elements and plants you like, how much maintenance you can handle, and what budget you have in mind. Some ideas may be shared and discussed at this point. Your designer will probably see great possibilities you hadn't even considered.
Measurements and photos will usually be taken of the existing features. When they're available, any existing drawings of the house and/or site are very helpful.
All of the existing site information is taken and compiled into a working base.
This is when the basic structure of the design is laid out. It usually includes all of the placement and shape of the hardscape features, lawn edges and planting beds are defined, focal points are established, and some of the major plants are placed. The overall picture begins to take shape.
On some of the larger design projects, an intermediate meeting is helpful for you and the designer. The overall design is presented and options are discussed. Many times this is where the best solutions are developed as we brainstorm together.
This is where we get into the fine details of the landscape design. Plant names and varieties are chosen to best suit your needs and the design. Hardscape materials and colors are selected. Water feature specifics are worked out. Nightlighting effects are discussed and fixtures are selected.
The master plan is ready to be presented.
Landscape is more than plants and grass. It includes all of the functional and aesthetic features that create the atmosphere or environment of an area.
Together we can create a comfortable and useful environment that is designed to increase in value over time.
The designers at Cascade Landscape Management are looking forward to helping you develop a fun and unique design for your home.
Whether your project is as small as the entry experience into your home or as large as a fully developed acreage property, our goal is to develop a design that will suit your needs.
Above all a good design requires order. The overall composition of the landscape needs to flow together in a unified way. Strong geometric lines and shapes is one of the easiest ways of accomplishing this.
We can help you with the process to create a meaningful and memorable landscape. We are in the business to help you grow one of the most visible places around your home or business.
Landscaping seems like a personal choice to many people - something that you do simply because you'll enjoy it.
There's a lot more to it than that. A well designed landscape is good for your entire community - especially when it is designed and installed by a landscape professional.
With most renovations, you spend more than you can ever recoup when it's time to sell. Not with landscaping! MONEY Magazine estimates that you can expect to recover 100-200% of your landscaping costs when you sell (compared to approximately 75% of your costs for an interior renovation).
You - Get to enjoy a beautifully landscaped yard.
Your Neighbors - Landscaping adds value to the entire neighborhood! Just as a neglected property brings down property values, a well-maintained landscape adds to the desirability of the area. Plus, everyone can enjoy the natural beauty!
Your Environment - Plants and trees absorb ozone-damaging pollutants, produce oxygen, and help keep temperatures down.
Home Buyers - Lenders look favorably on well landscaped homes, and that's good news for your home's next owner.
Home Sellers - Ready... Set... Sell! According to the appraisers and realtors, a beautifully landscaped home will sell faster and for more money than its neighbors. Everyone wants to own a beautifully landscaped home.
Good landscaping increases the value of your home by 15%
Cascade Landscape Management knows that even the most beautiful home can be ruined by a poorly designed landscape. Because landscaping creates more than just beauty and ambiance; it also creates value.
Cascade Landscape designs are more than just a tree here, a flower there. Our designers and installers are careful to create complete harmony between lawn, gardens, fences, hedges, paths, lighting and sprinkler systems - a harmony that takes into account plant composition, growth, water needs, and, perhaps most importantly, your pocketbook.
